In VIEW I then select REPORT This is where ProjectLibre stalls. Now, I want to try and view the reports for this dummy project and take the following steps: With the Tasks list and the Gantt chart visible, I select VIEW. No problems with setting up the Tasks, Gantt Charts, Assgining Resources. I've created a dummy project to familiarise myself with Project Libre. so I used: ~$ java -XshowSettings:properties -version Property settings: awt.toolkit = file.encoding = UTF-8 = sun.io parator = / = 11GraphicsEnvironment. How would I obtain the stack trace? I tried to get the JAVA_HOME variable: ~$ echo $JAVA_HOME on echo command I got an empty return. In console I did get only the message above. I didn't get any javax/xml/bind/JAXBException. I get the same error as Nuke when I open the file in 1.9. I have version 1.8 on my work computer and 1.9 on my home computer. It also refuses to allow changes to certain tasks (cannot complete 100%) If I click "OK" to that message a couple hundred times (or however many lines are in the project, did not count) the file opens, very annoying. In /usr/bin/projectlibre the java version is determined in the following line: JAVA_VERSION=`echo "$JAVA_VERSION" | awk '' | sed. Suggestion: Remove the empty ( should be enough).

I unpacked the file and repacked it again using the info from and putting it into. Unfortunately the deb-file contains an empty. I must confirm that I am experiencing the same problem also in ProjectLibre 1.9 I could generate reports in the previous version. Thanks kohpe! after some searching I came up with following pprocedure: dpkg -x projectlibre_1.9.0-1.deb projectlibre_1.9.0-1/ then I did the from kohpe suggested change on projectlibre_1.9.0-1/usr/bin/projectlibre dpkg -e projectlibre_1.9.0-1.deb projectlibre_1.9.0-1/DEBIAN dpkg -b projectlibre_1.9.0-1/ projectlibre_1.9.0-2.deb and installed the "new" package with gdebi (I didn't have to do anything with the, because "dpkg -e" generated control just fine.) Installation went without. Is there a possibility to add this in JDK 11 manually to the existing deb? And if yes, how exactly? TIA Just to make sure I understand this right: in JDK 9 and 10 I could start projectlibre with: java -add-modules projectlibre in JDK 11 I couldn't change the behavior because I had add the JAXB as a dependency to the project code. ProjectLibre 1.9 doesn't start on Mint 19.1 - solved (repackage deb with patch)
